Designed to fail safely
Protect the original when a result cannot be trusted.
- All-silent files are skipped.A file detected as silence from beginning to end is left untouched.
- Large removals are refused.A configurable per-file limit stops an unexpected detection result from cutting too much.
- Output is temporary first.The final path changes only after a complete non-empty result has been written.
